Working in SMEs for over 20 years it never ceases to amaze me how much value is created by smaller companies. Each SME is unique. They have niche products and services and their own operating challenges. Despite their unique qualities, SMEs seem to share a common problem:

It is in my make up to solve problems and this is the one problem I am dedicated to solving.

Thanks to advancing digital technology, there has never been so much opportunity to access new markets, customers, funding, products, systems and learning content. So, scaling up should be simple. However, it seems that more choice has become part of the problem. The options are overwhelming.
